As part of the dental clinic of Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin, the Department of Craniofacial Developmental Biology provides basic dental research and takes over a fundamental part of the training of aspiring dentists.

About us
The Department of Craniofacial Developmental Biology is part of the ChariteCentrum 3 for Dentistry, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
The department emerged from the Department of Micromorphology (Prof. Dr. Hans Lenz) and has been under the direction of Prof. Dr. Dr. Radlanski.
As a research department, Craniofacial Developmental Biology deals, among other things, with microanatomy and morphogenesis of the human craniofacial region.
